I tried it out with my mom. I must say. It actually wasn't bad!The food is actually really nice. The fries are probably store bought, but that's not a bad thing! The service was actually genuine. Yes we had to wait a bit. But the table before us ordered a lot. So it was excusable. Did apologize for the delay which was appreciated.Place was actually clean and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.I would definitely recommend it. Generic foods. But it's a diner. Not a restaurant. Besides that. The food was great.Price wise. Very affordable, very fair portions. You get what you pay for.

Good Friends hosted our family (70 people) for a repast today. Service, food and staff were excellent. Thank you again Martha!

Don't let the outside fool you...this is comfort home cooking. It was like being invited into Sunday family diner. If you have the chance to go, GO! Super tasty and absolutely delicious!

Good fresh food. Ordered Philly steak with mushrooms and onion for lunch. Great quantity! Worth the money! Affordable. Fries are extra crispy and delicious

I am all about supporting local - especially when it's so good! 5 stars for the friendly service, great menu options, generous portion sizes & super reasonable prices! This family-run diner might just be my new go-to lunch spot.

There were a few people here, bathrooms are clean and some parking..parking lot is a shared driveway; even though they DO have reserved parking for patrons.Plenty of seating and it’s seating…not booths, but open tables and spread throughout the diner..it has a down home country feel to it..simple but elegant.Hours are from 7-3 Monday-Saturday and then 7-2 on Sundays. But let’s get into the review.Rae was my waitress/server and very friendly/personable. Asked her a couple times on recommendations and she knocked it out of the park. Always came and checked to see how I was/if needed more/if wanted stuff to go when I was done eating. Highly recommend her on the service part.Food - Seems that all drinks are in bottles or cans, which is unusual..but maybe it’s cuz they don’t get the business for tap and they are only open for breakfast and lunch.Had the liver and onions with bacon meal which came with mashed potatoes and a choice of veggie (I chose corn over green beans). I’ve never had it where they cut it into strips..I can say..I’ve never had liver and onions as tender, delicious, and easy to chew as I did with this. The corn was a bit hard…but again, I don’t really care about that, that’s not what I came for.It came with a salad or soup..I chose the salad..which seemed like it was the last bit of the head as it wasn’t very green..but again, I don’t go to a diner for salad. All in all, overall…on a scale of 1-10, I give this a 9.75 strictly for the reasons…the hours are a bit weird as it’s only open for breakfast and lunch and parking..those are the only 2 takeaways. Food was phenomenal, service was phenomenal.

Had a wonderful time at Good Friends Diner. Our waitress was very lovely and made us feel right at home. Food quality was top notch and only took about 10 mins before it was ready! I would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for some great food and company! Thank you for serving us
